Den 23. juni 2021 vil “The Senior Bowl” optage fem ny medlemmer i deres Hall Of fame. En af disse fem er New Orleans Saints’ defensive end Cameron Jordan.

Ud over Jordan, er også cornerback Patrick Surtain, offensiv tackle Joe Staley, running back Fred Taylor og wide receiver Reggie Wayne udvalgt.

Af alle fem er Jordan den eneste tilbageværende aktive spiller.

“Each of these men was a premier player in the National Football League at his respective position and all have the credentials to one day end up in Canton (home of Pro Football Hall of Fame).  We are honored to bring this group back to Mobile to celebrate their great NFL careers.”

Jordan blev valgt som nummer 24 i første runde af draften i 2011. Og han har ikke misset en kamp for Saints i 10 sæsoner. Han holder en fantastisk streak i gang med 160 kampe i træk og er nummer 12 for flest kampe for Saints. Han har lavet 94,5 sack, hvilket er anden flest blandt Saints spillere, kun overgået af Rickey Jackson (115).

Jordan er yderligere blevet valgt til seks Pro bowls og udvalgt til tre All-pro hold.
