Her nogle uger efter free agency er gået i gang, er det endnu engang tid til at kigge på eksperternes mock drafts. Vi udgav før free agency denne opsummering. Nu er det tid til at se, hvor meget free agency har ændret på dette.
DANIEL JEREMIAH (NFL.COM)
Michael Mayer, Notre Dame · TE · Junior
Mayer would be an excellent value pick at this point in Round 1. He is a complete tight end, and Derek Carr would have a reliable security blanket on third down.
ERIC EDHOLM (NFL.COM)
Myles Murphy, Clemson · Edge · Junior
The Saints should continue adding to the defensive line. Cameron Jordan is entering the final year of his contract. Carl Granderson and Tanoh Kpassagnon are role players. Payton Turner remains a mystery having played in just 13 games in two seasons.
LANCE ZIERLEIN (NFL.COM)
Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh · DT · Junior (RS)
Kancey plays with terrifying first-step quickness as a penetrator and a pass-rusher. He lacks the size for usage on early downs, but he could have game-altering potential if the Saints are able to slow opposing offenses on first down.
CHAD REUTER (NFL.COM)
Cody Mauch, North Dakota State · OL · Senior (RS)
Interior blockers Andrus Peat and Cesar Ruiz have uncertain futures with the Saints. Mauch can play all five positions on the line and brings the same sort of nastiness as last year’s first-rounder, left tackle Trevor Penning.
CYNTHIA FRELUND (NFL.COM)
BJ Ojulari, LSU · Edge · Junior
Ojulari gets a big boost in his first season trajectory working with Cameron Jordan. His versatility against both the run and pass creates the most immediate upside for the Saints. It’s also funny to me that his comp is his brother. (I do all comps blind, so you can imagine my nerdy delight when things like that happen.) In the past two seasons at LSU (including postseason play), he totaled more than 100 pressures and 17 sacks, per PFF.
CHRIS TRAPASSO (CBS)
Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College, Senior
The Saints are thrilled to have the opportunity to pick Flowers to pair with Chris Olave and Michael Thomas for Derek Carr.
JOSH EDWARDS (CBS)
Keion White, DL, Georgia Tech, Senior
The Keion White to New Orleans selection is probably getting a bit repetitive for Saints fans, but White is the type of player who the franchise has gone for late in the first round.
RYAN WILSON (CBS)
Keion White, DL, Georgia Tech, Senior
Trey Hendrickson is signed through 2025 and Sam Hubbard through 2026, but there’s not much depth behind them, and finding a talent like White at the bottom for Round 1 might be too good to pass up. He had a great week at the Senior Bowl, and NFL teams love his size (6-foot-4, 280 pounds) and his motor. He consistently wins at the line of scrimmage and is good against both the run and getting after the quarterback.
KYLE STACKPOLE (CBS)
Calijah Kancey, DL, Pittsburgh, Junior
Calijah Kancey may be small, but he has everything else you want in a gap-shooting defensive tackle. On a defense front that lost multiple players in free agency, Kancey would contribute right away.
