PENALTIES

Latavius Murray: B+ (3.33)
Where did this come from? Elevated from the practice squad, he came in and played like he never missed a beat. He finished runs and ran with authority. On his touchdown run, it’s all him as he carries a couple tacklers into the end zone with him – pure power. He had 11 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown and also added a catch for 8 yards. At this point he needs to say on the active roster ahead of Tony Jones, Jr. in the pecking order.
Chris Olave: B (2.92)
There is no denying this guy is a stud. 4 catches for 67 yards and a touchdown on 7 targets. It could have been more, though, as he dropped a 50/50 deep ball late that Dalton lofted beautifully into his hands. He also failed to get both feet in bounds near the sideline right before that 61 yard miss that could have made the kick closer. A bad missed block on a short pass to Landry was responsible for a failure to convert a 3rd down play. Why he and Harty were responsible for blocking the perimeter on that play is boggling. You have big bodies in Smith and Callaway if you’re going to run that play. So there are ways he can improve, but overall it’s great to see him making such an impact this early. He’s going to be special.
topscorer var dog:
Ryan Ramczyk: A (3.25)
Often matched up against Danielle Hunter, he completely erased him. So many dominant moments, no one generated anything off of him. His lead block on a Trautman screen was nice, and he showed off his power too. Back to peak levels in this one.
