For ottende gang i træk holdt NFL deres årlige prisuddelingsshow aftenen før Super Bowl.

Flere New Orleans Saints spillere var nomineret til priser, og specielt var der tale om Drew Brees og hvorvidt han kunne fravriste MVP trofæet fra Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Det blev dog kun til en pris til Saints. Brees vandt The Art Rooney Sportsmanship Award.
